At Digital Foundry, security is at the core of everything we build. We are looking for an Application Security Engineer who is passionate about securing modern software applications and ensuring that security is embedded in every stage of the development lifecycle. As a key member of our security team, you will work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to identify, mitigate, and prevent security vulnerabilities in our applications and infrastructure.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct secure code reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Implement secure coding practices and collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues.
- Develop and maintain security automation tools for vulnerability scanning and compliance monitoring.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, and container security tools into CI/CD pipelines to enforce security best practices.
- Design and enforce application security policies, standards, and threat detection frameworks.
- Stay ahead of emerging security threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to secure cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- Advocate for a security-first culture by conducting security awareness training and promoting best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in application security, software security, or DevSecOps.
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, API security, and secure software development practices.
- Experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, ZAP, Snyk, Checkmarx, SonarQube, or Semgrep.
- Familiarity with CI/CD security integrations and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go) for security automation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset to detect and prevent security threats.
